In March of 2020, we started friend dating Covid style (via zoom). We "dated" religiously, zooming every night night, practicing Kundalini Yoga, and awakening our souls, as the world fell to its knees. 

We spoke often about how grateful we were for the energetic tools that carried us through uncertainty and fear. Our romantic awakening bore witness to another great spiritual revelation: we had been put together to spearhead a spiritual movement. Although we talked about it in jest, we felt shame about having such lofty goals. Who were we to think we could do such a thing?

Only July 4th, 2020, the universe spoke. This was the day that we actually addressed the elephant in the room: we were in love. Until then, we had friend zoned one another out of fear. As we were leaving the beach that day, a couple approached us and asked what we were about. Confused, we asked "what do you mean?", they continued "this is so out of character for us, we can't even believe we are asking this, but how did you guys do it? How did you fall in love?". At that point we both melted with embarrasment and told them we were just friends. They said they were in a similar situation and were just struck by the energy we had generated together. 

It was in this moment that the movement began. We were able to step outside of our own narrative and see that this was something much bigger than us. In fact, the universe has entrusted us as its guardian but it belongs to all. 

In that interaction we witnessed the power of love and its ability to create change so powerful that it stops people dead in their tracks. This story is long but it is one that is worth being told. When we step into our power (kundalini, mother earth, unconditional love), we surprise everyone around us, but most importantly, ourselves.
